Ribbon happy birthday

In "A Cut Above" card class, one technique highlighted was diecutting materials other than paper or card, such as ribbon or fabric, and another was to use the negative space behind a die cut shape.  I've kind of combined these by filling in the negative space in this "happy" die cut with scraps of ribbon.

 I hope you're having a lovely day - thanks for visiting :)

    1. The "happy" die is in a set from Papertrey Ink - there's also "forever", "lucky" and "you" in the set.

  6. Thanks, Michelle! I find it so hard to find things at Papertrey - wish they had a tree structure and a wish list!
